Is there anyone on here that’s a Registered Dietitian with there own private practice? I am currently working in a acute care hospital as an inpatient dietitian and even though I do enjoy it, the pay is rough. I make 54k a year in south Florida. Does anyone have any advice for starting your own business. And If you did are you happy with your decision and was it worth it?

My spouse and I recently adopted an older shelter dog (Carlotta). Some of the other MDs at my hospital were putting together a "Dr. and Dog" social event, so I took Carlotta. The amount of jabs I got for bringing a shelter "mutt" (with typical elderly dog health ailments) instead of purchasing an expensive designer dog like everyone else was astounding.
