ZS Associates Hello folks, I am a permanent employee of Persistent. I am deputed at the client side. My client is an ZS associate. Recently I have resigned from persistent. But ZS is very happy with my work. They don't want me to go. My ZS manager has asked the persis manager to retain me OR remove the cooling period clause, ZS is ready to hire me as a permanent employee. I will be very happy is ZS takes me as Permanent employee. Yes. Sorry to say this @Partner, but sounds like you don’t get scrum.
It’s a project management approach. Tasks are delegated and progress is checked daily. Not a gigantic jump from regular PMO.
P1 - Yes, we have done something similar with short MVP, continuous feedbacks from the various groups (scrum teams) and having defined goals for each week/sprints.
Thanks for your answer. For what type of project did you use this? I see the MVP point for a new product or an app... but for a let’s say working capital optimization or growth strategy... I struggle
Jeff Sutherland's book called Scrum has examples of non-software-development situations, like journalists working on field reporting assignments. You can use a lot of the ideas on any kind of initiative that involves multiple people, because it's all about reducing waste and increasing flow.
Just giving some context... we are getting a Scrum training in collaboration with our data analytics team and I am having trouble to see applicability in a pure management consulting set-up
Scrum and agile can be applied in non-software-development environments if desired, yes. This is one of the components I emphasize regarding agile while coaching.
