I’ve done some work as an Hoa attorney at a prior job. I think there’s good and bad. It can be interesting but can also be really annoying. I remember attending evening board meetings. Some of the issues an HoA deals with feel so petty and meaningless. Some people were never meant to live in an hoa. So there can be a lot of tension and headache. I had a case go to trial about a hot tub gazebo. But … you can also get into some interesting issues involving things like easements. So there can be a good variety of work.
