Tell us more about what’s going on. Why do you want to leave? What made you be where you’re at in the first place if you there was a possibility of not liking it.
I knew someone that was able to leave and find a new role after ~6-7 months at a firm. Some companies may see this as a red flag, but the same could probably be said for leaving 1 or 2 years in. It just really depends on the firms you apply to. I think in general, as long as you have a good reason for leaving and are not leaving on bad terms, you should be ok.
It was a short-term solution. Got laid off from prior role because of team downsizing and needed a job to pay bills. Couldn’t risk not taking the job and having no income. Initial thought was stay for one year and then leave but if you want to leave in a year you need to start looking 6 months prior.
I left within 6 months because I hated being there. You can spin it differently. If you know that you don’t like it, get proactive and find something you like.
Thanks SA1. Did you get any pushback from companies? How did you spin?
