Definitely yes. The 1 year of tenure doesn’t matter. You might already be earning more out of the gate, and if not, very soon.
Depends on many things. Don't treat MBB as if it's one universal entity that provides the same experience across the globe. They are very different from one another.
Switch to McK or BCG makes sense if you see yourself long-term in consulting given you are still early in your career. Your classmates will advance more quickly and that may hurt your ego but if you are OK with it, go for it. If your career goal is to become a McK or BCG Partner, then it makes sense to switch early and grow in their "farm" system.
If you plan to exit to the industry in a year or two, and if you can find alum from your current firm who have followed a similar path, then talk to them and understand what their experience was like. Hardly worth the switch if you are only going to stick around for another year or two. Exit options don't change drastically (except for very few cases).
Personally, I don't think it's worth switching to Bain unless you work in financial services and where they are strong (DD?) matters to you.
Really helpful perspective - thanks!
One year is nothing. Go for it

Yes
I recently chose not to in similar situation, but only because of 3 things happening at once: (1) I especially like the people I work with, (2) I find the work they/I do interesting enough, and (3) I figured my odds of doing really well here are better than at MBB (and I think I like consulting longer term), but comp differential would not be enough to offset risk difference
I don't think you can make a truly wrong decision either way, and I would choose the MBB offer unless you have strong personal connections (which tbh would be harder to make during COVID)
