Is it true that people joining for Oracle practice at PWC AC Bangalore are on bench due to shortage of projects right now ?

I am curious to see the number of new Grant Thornton PPMD promotees for 2019 once they are made public, in light of all of the recent layoffs and office closure/s.

I'm starting to get the impression that my leadership doesn't want to get me off the bench, and that they've roped the RM into the same agreement. Is this an actual layoff strategy Deloitte uses?

Does KPMG layoff employees? Is there job security?

I'm about to put in my two weeks EOW and I'm so relieved.

Last Feb my CD and CW were laid off and we were incredibly understaffed, and I made the mistake of being a team player and taking on extra responsibilities thinking it'd be temporary in a moment of transition. 15 months, one leave of absence (I was/am beyond burnt out), and two very positive bi-annual reviews later, I had nothing to show for it, title or compensation-wise.

The job I'm taking will be over twice my current pay.

I’ve never had problem focusing and do work before as creatives. But since moving to a new agency and over seeing more teams under me I find my mind wander when teams are presenting ideas. Most of the time when the ideas are good and I can see the concept I have no problem following along. But it’s when their ideas aren’t clear or wishy washy my mind start to wander and I have to really force myself to focus. 🤷‍♂️ Do I need adderall? Hope not.

1: Fixed: 26 LPA
2: Variable: 10%
3: Grade: Principal Consultant (Grade 42, band 3)
4: Profile: Banking and finance BA
5: EOY is 10.5 years
Currently I serve as a Lead BA in one of the Fintech product company with a fixed CTC of 20.5 LPA and my current organization has agreed to give me a CTC of 26 LPA if I stay back. But only thing which I would be losing out here in my current organization is the 10% variable component and the EY brand

I am currently working with Deloitte India(Not USI) in SAP Consulting Practice for UK project. Having offer from EY GDS. They want to retain me but offer few lakhs less than what EY GDS has offered.
In delima now.
Can you advise pls, if EY GDS having good exposure in SAP Consulting practice?
Is it better to leave Deloitte India and join Ey gds?
For long term prospective, which one should I go ahead with?

I am from GDS consulting.
I joined from another firm to GDS when I just became a CA with a 42 percent increment from my peanuts in oct 2020 . That got revised by 24 percent in oct 2021 and now by 10 percent in mid year. A lot of my colleagues became managers. They might be getting 18 lakh plus. One of the senior 4 like me is getting 2.5 lacs more than me.
I am not saying that I have the best package, but I remember where I came from. Things have could been better, but they are not bad either:)
