Hey capco fishes - any idea/expectations from June 27 bonus payout. This is my first year at capco (Joined Q4, 2021) as PC so not sure what to expect in bonus (post Wipro takeover) - heard they distributed 120% earlier. Also, since it’s performance based - does bench time gets included or is it just during billable days? Capco
Is it me or is the bench a blessing ?

Here is one solution: Take the 500 points per day instead of getting room service. Probably worth it in the long run
Why don’t you switch hotels? Answer lies in your question
^Don’t do this OP. Video monitoring in private places (a hotel room is classified as one), is governed by consent laws which differ by state. Meaning, you may need consent to be recorded from everyone accessing the room, housekeeping included. In your quest for 100k points you may end up with a potential felony on your record
Put a monitoring cam . Catch once and voila 100K points easy
Escalate it to Marriott corporate for sure and switch hotels
Don’t leave your stuff.... ? 🤷🏽♀️
Problem is, you don’t have proof...
@manager2 if I had proof, how would I negotiate? They actually did a key history and got proof that housekeeping came in twice despite me having made a green choice. The second theft, I do not have proof.
And on top of that, you haven’t changed hotels? Come on!
Which hotel is this so I can never stay here?
Definitely record and retaliate. Hotel staff is actively stealing from you.
@accenture1 I did. Housekeeping came in anyway and took stuff.
Why do you only care about negotiating points? If you are claiming that something of value is stolen and then you’re negotiating for points (vs. reimbursement) you wouldn’t sound very credible, would you? Even I am having a hard time believing you tbh
If you have a cam on your property to monitor “public environments” that is ok, but if you have one monitoring the living room, that needs to get consent from anyone who has “an expectation of privacy” there, ie your tenants. Folks please consult all relevant bylaws or better get yourself umbrella/litigation insurance
@deloitte1 probably should. The theft already happened though. Any tips on negotiating points?
Tell them you're going to the police.
McK1. Are you saying you can’t install a monitoring cam in your rental house? I am failing to see the difference between the two situations
Maybe you can inform front desk about that due to this issue.
Cams in rentals need to be 100% disclosed to renters
This is like staying with the abusive boyfriend/girlfriend and trying to figure out how to get them to make them say sorry. 🤦♀️
