Have both roth and traditional in my old 401k. Now changed job and have 401k at another institution. Is it possible rollover the Roth part of 401k to my Roth IRA and the rest to the new 401k? (To be able to future back door Roth conversion)

Yes you can rollover Roth portion to Roth IRA and non Roth portion to new 401k. If you don't do anything you can still do future backdoor roth ira. The only thing stopping you from doing backdoor roth is having a balance in one or more pre tax IRAs like a traditional IRA, SEP etc otherwise the pro rate rule will apply.

Need investment advice. NW of 600k, 31 and single, save about 5k a month. Recently moved to US 2 years ago. Have about $100k to invest. Breakdown of NW: 100k cash, 450k in 2 RE properties in Toronto, 50k in tax saving accounts (401k, HSA). Max out HSA and max company match for 401k. I’ve had really good success in RE, so it’s my comfort zone. I feel like I should be diversifying, but I’ve been spoiled by 20%+ yoy gains. Thoughts?

Starting a new job and rethinking my retirement contributions. So far have put between 7-10% of my salary into a 401k over the last two years, debating if a Roth IRA is something I should consider. New firm matches 3% to 401k, will be making 123k. Thoughts?

Indexed Universal Life Insurance (IUL) - Anyone have one of these ? Never heard of this until the other day when a financial planner mentioned it. He said it’s a better vehicle than 401K. I took what he said with a grain of salt because he was trying to acquire customers, but I haven’t heard anyone talk about it here. At a quick glance it seems pretty solid. Anyone have experience ? Pros/Cons ? Something to add on including the standard 401K, Roth, HSA, etc ?

I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
