been in downward spiral since COVID, struggling with being alone, loved the travel, teams. got depressed and angry. Dreaded work. In the process got to drinking 4 up to 15 drinks most days. Gained weight. Didn’t care about living. Have tried to stop over and over. Last week I woke up with a bloody nose and for the first time cared. I don’t know what changed. I am 7 days sober and I am starting to feel like the me I remember! I am proud! I am thankful! I just needed to share!
1. If it’s delta ticketed with Delta flight #’s and KLM operates you can use a global as long as Z is avail
2. If it’s delta ticketed and KLM operated/marketed you can only use miles to upgrade on a Y, B, or M fare
3. If it’s an Ex-AMS flight any delta or klm operated flight can be upgraded using a cash miles combo including skymiles (reference flyertalk)
4. You can do klm paid day of departure but must be KLm operated (could be delta ticketed or klm ticketed, but would go for klm ticketed at that)
Thank you everyone. Fingers crossed it is.
As long as there is Z class space you can use a Global upgrade certificate.
Probably not. But download the KLM app and check for upgrades. You're able to check in 30 hrs prior to flying. So you should be able to see options. It'll probably be 300 dollars.
What route?
All three posts are wrong
Thanks EY1 - it's a New Delhi - Atlanta flight with a 2 hour layover in Amsterdam. Ticketed and operated by KLM.
So you can ask at check in , then if not avail ask at the crown lounge in AMS
And this is why his/her best bet is KLM paid upgrade OLCI
I wouldn’t bank on OLCI. Go to the desk
In Amsterdam 2 hrs is barely enough time since upgrades clear 90 min before hand
it’s enough time at the crown lounge
