Stop all caffeine. Even in the morning. That ended my sleep problems.

Your body gets use to melatonin after a while. Drink a glass of red wine or chamomile about 30 minutes before your normal sleep time. Also go to the gym

Xanax

In addition to working out, I've found that getting off my phone and reading for like 30 minutes before going to bed usually helps

like

Drugs. Like Xanax.

Do at least 30 minutes of exercise every day

Read some analyst reports about financial institutions. Works wonders

like

Don't take melatonin - it's actually a hormone and unregulates melatonin receptors, which undermines your body's receptiveness to natural melatonin and is harmful in the long run

like

Lift weights, meditate, accept that it's just a job

Whatever you do, do NOT drink wine. I'm the queen of insomnia and trust me, drinking will only give you a new reason to have more issues. Exercise. Run until you think your throat is bleeding from the smog. If you can get out of bed no problem the next morning, you're doing it wrong. Also, kickboxing/boxing to get out the aggression really calms your mind down. Trust me I've tried melatonin, Xanax, ambien, l-theanine, tea. Also read something that makes you fall asleep during the day (something really boring), add warm "sleepy" tea and a nice workout and you should be out.

Glass of red wine works... throw in a xanax if you want to make it extra effective

like

Listen to white noise/asmr videos while you're lying in bed

like

What BAML said - get in some cardio or lifting 3-4x a week and you'll definitely sleep better

I've used melatonin tons through the years. Eventually found oddly enough that it started to negatively impact my sleep. Maybe try a week or so without.

I work in HR comms at a hospital corporate office, and wondering if I’m being underpaid. Currently have 4-6 years of experience. I have skills most comm majors aren’t expected to learn such as printing, ideation, graphic design, typography, photography, advertising campaign management, Adobe suite knowledge, branding and more. I’m being paid $26.6/hr. Was told in my job search by another hospital that the rate I requested $30-35/hr is only for people with 10-18yrs experience? Legit or bogus?
