Have interviews lined up. Moving from Industry to consulting to one of the Big 4. Any resources ,tips on preparing for case interviews? What kind of questions should I expect. Contd.

Has anyone ever come from a highly technical boutique firm (Mandiant, Specter Ops, etc) to big four, or vice versa? Pros? Cons? And does it bug anyone doing cyber at a non cyber firm (eg big 4)

Background: 27 Afro Latino Male recently graduated from a State School with a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. After undergrad I worked at McKinsey for 2 years as an EA and was urged to get my graduate degree to pursue consulting. Now 1 year removed from graduation, I’m still having a hard time landing at a good firm. Would having orgs like PP and NAACP hurt me?

Does infosys conduct interview for the one who is working as SubCon and nominated for full time employment with infosys ?

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.

Should an ad agency be able to thoroughly check my references and ask for my entire employment history (including why I left each job) before agreeing on a salary?

I’ve had 7 interviews, met every stakeholder, was initially approached by one of them, who will be my boss. Plus I’ve had great feedback after every interview.

I was laid off from my previous job because of COVID so don’t have a ton of leverage. But that shouldn’t make me powerless. The process just seems like overkill.

I have a second round interview with a saas company selling education software. This interview will be a 30 minute zoom call with the VP of sales. I am someone from a non- traditional background with 2 years of sales-ish roles but no experience in tech sales and no straight forward sales job.

Looking to exist Salesforce due to “Comp Throttling”. Even with promotions every year (2) exiting looks to increase OTE by 80-120% (3YOE)I have offers from Hubspot and a Saleforce partner for CS. Partner Is 18% higher OTE, with a much larger workload and worst WLB.
