Lol at these ridiculous Florida recommendations. Orlando and Jacksonville are terrible. If you need to be near an office Atlanta is a good option. Lots of hiking and lakes nearby. If you are also looking at remote jobs St Pete is sweet
St Pete and Orlando aren’t really all that different culturally

What kind of nature do you intend to enjoy in Austin? Just curious.
Salt Lake City is my vote.
Austin hill country is beautiful.
Stay away from high Covid infection places like Florida, and most of the southern states. Nature? Move to Montana 😃

Atlanta, Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando. Would recommend Jacksonville the highest out of the FL cities
Salt Lake +1
Orlando area has tons of gorgeous crystal clear springs that you can basically use year round since it’s always warm. Lots of opportunity for inexpensive housing but competitive job market depending on the industry. One of the fastest growing cities in the country and uniquely diverse.
That being said - Austin has tons of variety of nature, way bigger city with a more established identity, seemingly lots of job opportunities
Orlando is a shit hole. Why would you move to Florida to not be near the coast.
