Have majority of us started our teenage years in retail?

Unless you are an exceptional person in studies and a large company captures you before, yes, we all start in retail.

I think not, when I graduated from high school I had the opportunity to start working with a company in the supply chain, and after a year of working there they gave me the opportunity to become a procurement specialist.

Whether it's a donut shop, or a McDonald's, it's the first thing we have at hand to work and start having economic responsibilities.

I believe that a good majority of us have started our teenage years in some form of retail. This is likely because many of us start working at a young age and retail is one of the most common starter jobs. It can provide us with some great experience and help us to learn important life skills.

Lol 18 then became a manager at 20 and never look back

I started at McDonalds. It was half a lifetime ago and I still think sometimes about how much I hated it.

I am not in a Management position, I make as much as a teacher in a good district and I just don't feel my overall self worth at this job. Does anyone have any advice that can help this situation?
