Alot, went from making peanuts to a really decent living. Got a graduate degree , found the love of my life, and now preparing for marriage. I wish I could tell my younger self to relax and that everything is gnna turn out fine...! 😊
Went from making 40k to 80k. Able to travel where I want, eat what I want. It’s been a blessing. We are lucky.
Ended a marriage, lived alone and didn’t date and rediscovered who I am and want to be, and four years later met the love of my life.
Umm went from 42k to 75k to 80k to 0k. In a relationship to single. Gained invaluable experience. Cleared any debts. Becoming a bigger risk taker. On the verge of starting a business
Have two more kids. I realize there’s less logic and more luck to life. Every moment you have is an investment in someone. There’s a grind, work through it, but know when it grinds too long
Beyond more than I could have ever imagined!
My son was born and my mom died .. life changes in a heart beat
Last 4 years have been great and the next 40 would be the greatest😀
I learnt lot of lessons in last 4 years which will last a lifetime- became single, fell for someone, got back stabbed, realized some people also drive personal agendas and want to use others, found solace in work , did well there, watched my parents retire, bought a house, travelled a lot....Hoping that next 4 will be kick ass !
2 more kids, realizing family is more important than career, a lot more introspection, doing things because I want to and not caring what others think. Still working on all of these
Bought my first home, met my boyfriend of nearly 4 years now, went to grad school, escaped a miserable/toxic job and am now in one I like much better with a much better culture. I feel like I’m more mature, have a better idea of who I am and what I want my life to look like in the future (like where I want to settle down, kind of lifestyle I want, etc.)
So good to know how everyone has been coping with life ! Births and deaths, new jobs and old, strong relationships and toxic liars, new cities and homes - and staying strong in midst of chaos ! Cheers to life
Professionally, mostly positive changes. Started my career in EY’s assurance practice as a Grad and now a Senior Consultant in Advisory. On the relationship side, plenty of sacrifices made when it comes to family gatherings. Missed birthdays, last one to show up on dinners, etc. No boyfriend during those years obviously. Overall, it helped define the person I am today. I’m clear on my priorities and sure of what I want in life.
