I like having just one device and I like my employer paying for it :) I have minimal notifications on anyway and I don't mind the occasional call from a colleague when I'm off (or I just let it go and text them back).
If you are less good at managing life and work together, I can see how two separate devices can help in more "you" time though.

Call me naive, but there is a huge incentive for employers to have employees carry around their company phone 24/7, there is no benefit in trackingwhat I do on this device, let alone have me face consequences of that use. because if anyone anywhere would find negative consequences of using their corporate phone for personal reasons, thousands of people would become less reachable within weeks, everybody would switch to personal devices, nobody wins.
Two devices : much better to seperate work life balance and at least you can “leave work at home” when you need.
One device
Minimal personal use cost
Simplified life
I'm sure he could!
Two devices one in each pocket. Who needs kids anyways.
Two devices for sure. Especially if you plan to have teams on your phone. Must have separation.

Two devices all day! The company will have access to your personal phone once you install their apps.
More importantly your company can remote wipe your phone completely- not sure you want that !
I’ve had two devices for 8 years. One of the big reasons was I had young kids who played games etc on my phone and I did not like the idea they might do something on my work phone like email a client…. I also just liked the separation of work and personal. Just destroyed my personal phone in a stupid act of carelessness and am contemplating the one phone life now. As said above, nobody calls, and it just seems easier.
