Have to cancel an aircanada booking and will receive a flight voucher but don’t plan to travel to Canada again in the foreseeable future.

Any thoughts on whether it’s possible to book a fully (cash-) refundable ticket with the voucher and then cancel that new ticket for a cash refund?

Typically with a voucher you can book to anywhere bc it’s tied to cost not location

Refundable tickets are refunded to the original payment method, so you'd just get the voucher back. Try to use it on international travel connecting in an AC hub or barter it here.

Yeah good point, hadn’t considered the refund to original payment method

Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?

Hi there!
I completed the last round of an interview (presentation) last week. Originally they said they would be calling my references & then make an offer accordingly.
Today they updated that they'd like me to travel to their HQ (based in Nordics & I'm in London) for the final round where I'd meet the CEO, the hiring manager and a couple of people in the team.
I don't think I'm the only one in the process - even though initially the last round was the presentation.
What are your thoughts?

I think leadership in my company is just gearing up to sell:
1. When I try to refactor, organize, or address tech debt in the code, I get heavy pushback with no real justification (they just say “keep it simple”) and no stated initiatives to fix said debt. Thanks, I guess I’m just an impetuous child.
2. Marketing wants “more logos” to attract a 2nd round of investment.
3. No long-term vision for our “product.”
4. Way more personnel,no innovation
I feel undervalued, yes, but this is pretty sus
