I’m relatively new to consulting, so I have a question for the old-timers that have done their time. What generally happens at Accenture or in general within consulting when there is a recession? Who are the first to be laid off? What can a Senior analyst do to make themselves “harder” to lay off?

Upcoming Data Analyst Interview with Healthcare startup company - Clarify Health Solutions. There are 6+ rounds and I’ve only made it through one. Super anxious as I’ve seen online that they tend to ghost throughout the process and it’s hard to get an offer. Can anyone provide any tips or pointers?

If they’ve got established EBITDA that’s optimal but might be tough to find private EBITDA comps, and works best with similar companies w similar EBITDA #s; otherwise we just did a deal with TTM rev comps, public if you can’t find private, IMHO, still tough to argue against. And then use qualities subject to the target as drivers toward the high end or low end of your multiple range
Dang that’s tough. I’d find the closest public comps you can given the time restraint. Cross a couple industries together if you need. Ex,
I did an internship for a marketplace Uber-like recruiting firm and so we used some recruiting and some marketplace (Uber, Airbnb, fiverr). You can try running that against DCF but sounds like would take too long to tighten the inputs given your time frame. If you already have forecasts on EBITDA, DCF might still be worth a quick look.
