Hi! I just accepted a Relationship Banker II role in Allen, TX. My offer letter was 50k base and 1k guaranteed commission a month first year. I just graduated w a degree in Business Administration. Basically the info I got on how commission works was pretty vague. Anyway I wanted to see what someone I’m their 1st or 2nd year can realistically expect to on average make in commission a year in this role. Also what do bonuses in the role look like? I’m hoping to just hear some ballpark numbers! JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase

Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? What I would be doing is more PPT/functional vs Onestream/technical which I do now.

Continue going through with it, if the TC offered ends up being good then it might convince you right?
Based on the info shared, it’ll be lower than what I’m expecting at PwC
Send a note to the recruiter saying you just accepted an offer with another company and won’t be continuing with the interviewing process. Thank them for their consideration. This way it doesn’t waste more time for both parties.

How do you know it’s not appealing? And how do you feel about the hiring manager?
People are notoriously bad at articulating exactly what a role entails. You’re probably getting some sense of it but not everything.
Something similar happened to me, where I didn’t think the role was the best fit from interviews (in my case it was more that I thought it was only an 80% fit or so), but I proceeded with the process because I really liked the hiring manager and team. I’m glad I did, because I recently joined and found that this is a much better fit than we realized. Now I’m even more excited about my role.
