Hi Folks,
Hope you are doing well, I need valuable suggestion on few of my queries.
I had joined KPMG(KGS) on April 2022, during the interview i have been told that i would be working on Java Backend Development as my background belongs to same technology and my interview was also happened on Java/Spring/Microservices; but they put me on Low-Code / No code Platform and its totally tool based work. I am frustrated with the current work as i didnt find anything productive to learn.Continued in com KPMG @

This job is miserable without travel.
EY, I got my Roth IRA contributions set to max (30%). Does Fidelity automatically lower the % and stop contributions afterwards once I reach my 2022 limit?
Also at Deloitte, I had a couple thousand contributed in the beginning of the year. Does EY's 401k keep track of that as well towards the limit?

No finance bkgd at all. Have a Healthcare engagement and FS engagement under the belt. MIS from a top 10 public university.
I'm in a similar position and am leaning towards taking the role if I get it. Assuming you're in your early to mid 20's then I don't think there's any issue delaying b school a few more years. The relevant experience will only make your case to employers stronger and if things go really well well then you may not even need b school.
Neubergner Berman as an Analyst on their Mortgages and Real Estate Strategies team...is it a bad idea to switch now ? Should I just hit Consultant level, go to B school and attempt to come in as an Associate (or whatever the equivalent is) ?

Whats your background in?
Top 10 public university 👌🏻 🔥
Mid 20's. But that's my thinking as well D1! The work itself sounds fantastic and 2 years of Asset Mgmt plus MBA could open up a ton of doors at most Buy side firms (I would imagine)
I stand corrected. It is a top 15 public university* haha
Take it
Thanks OP for the post :)
I'm not sure why I'm being thanked? But you're welcome !
Is it hard to jump from MIS related roles to finance related roles with no back ground? Do companies hire people who want to jump but have no background in it?
In my experience yes. Unles you can translate your quant skills to the finance side
PwC2 why you hating on public schools?
