I’ve been asking about new opportunities in my current role for a year. Nothing came along so I started looking and I got an offer for a new role today. So of course my current place gives me a great opportunity right as I’m negotiating and figuring out salary for the new role. Figures this happens. 😞

I feel like I get paid well for my level of responsibility. If I get promoted, I'm expecting like a 5k raise for a hell lot more responsibility.
