Yes and yes. You really need to look at the previews and the reviews but for the most part I have only had positive experiences.

Yes, and if you have content that is 100% your own, make a store and rake in a few extra bucks per month. It can be fun!

All. The. Time. I’ve had overwhelmingly positive experiences with the things I purchase, but I also take time to hunt for something that fits exactly what I need. Sometimes, even if it’s something I could probably make myself, I figure I might as well save myself the time and effort.
