I've used them before, I usually make many modifications.
We use them all the time in elementary. I would do a little research before you buy anything though. Who has highest ratings and high volume of sales. Look at as much of it as you can before you buy and email the author with questions.
Sometimes it is a waste of money sometimes the lessons are good
I use TPT and have yet to waste money. They also have lots of free stuff to that can be helpful in a pinch. I have never bought a whole unit though.
