Need to vent. I feel like giving 100% (let’s be honest, usually more than that) to work isn’t enough anymore. My projects get my undivided attention, but I’m too mentally exhausted to participate in all the workplace extras. The groups, the communities, the talks, the panels. The concern that it makes me look bad always lingers in the back of my mind, but as a working parent I don’t know how else to say it… I’m drained. I just want to do my job really well and then spend time with my family.

All of us looked well, tired and we all realized we have been so busy looking out for our family and kids and we forgot to prioritize ourselves. How would you react if your SO came down with a flu (not Covid), and you lived separately? Would you avoid each other (assuming no one is at risk here) or move in to help the other person out ?
