I am deputed at the client office. I use PSL laptop only to check mails. But in my last appraisal my manager told me that I need to get 60 credit points for promotion. But due to client work load, i won't be able to do that. So, I have resigned from PSL mentioning the same that promotion will not happen.
But my manager told me that he will try to give me a promotion in next cycle (ignoring the credit points clause). He is asking me to withdraw resign
Shall I withdraw my resign? Persistent

Hi All! I hope you guys are staying safe and healthy.
I am hosting a free workshop for teachers that I thought might benefit you. The workshop is called From Unsettled to Prepared Classroom. I am giving you the tools you need to feel organized and ready for this upcoming school year. There is so much that is still uncertain and it can be super daunting to start to plan for a year like this one.

Take your pick of two situations, both of which happened at the same time.
1. Recruited with Deloitte. Initial phone screen happened about a week after referral. Over the following two weeks, I met with 3 PPMDs; first interview was assessing my skill sets, second interview was gauging my interests, and third was pitching me on career path. Verbal offer came a week later. When I expressed reservation, they made one of the PPMDs available to answer all of my questions by phone. Formal offer came, then negotiation, and then a final offer. PPMD called to see if there were any lingering questions, to tell me about my first project, and express on behalf of the team the excitement to bring me in.
2. Recruited with a different company; first contact was after getting the D verbal offer. I asked for what I thought was crazy - $200k base and a 10 calendar day process. Company delivered on both fronts.
I accepted the D offer because a) I value the steady stream of revenue over what I perceived as unrealistic growth expectations at the other place, and b) the whole process at D was positive. Felt like I was valued from first conversation through to offer acceptance and now into onboarding. I know they get a lot of ridicule on this app, but the pre hire process is top notch compared to my previous experiences.
Should add - a single point of contact from HR, access to leadership during recruitment for follow up, strong responsiveness throughout, and clear communication all made the process lovely.
