I taught in a trailer attached to a school for two years because we were all out of classrooms in the building. It was half the size of a normal classroom.

Even though I was teaching in a small trailer, I still had 25 students in there with me. To say it was a tight fit would be an understatement.

My current room has mold growing on the ceiling and parts of the ceiling fall during class. Not the healthiest environment for a band class...

😳

No, but I’ve only been at one school to teach. It has all the necessary things: counter space, sink, storage, closets, projector, file cabinet, desks, etc. my district does has all schools with classroom needs met!

Yes... if it's a group that just do not want to work hard... do not lower your standards! Yes, if it is an academic low group.. dig in they need you to teach them well!

We're returning to the classroom! I haven't taught live, in a classroom, since Friday, March 13, 2020. Ack! This is also my first full year as a teacher. I have four of my students and 3 students from the younger class coming to my hybrid class for three hours M, T, Th, F, starting this Thursday. Any ideas? Tips? Rules? I have lots of ideas, but figured I should pick the experts' brains, rather than freaking out and spinning my wheels. I'm feeling very high anxiety today. Thanks!

On an MBB case R1 interview, interviewer asked if I had info on future communication and I just said "Just finished R1 and R2 is going to come presumably based on R1 interviews", potentially implying that I thought nailed the case. I’m in my mid-40s with a 7 year old and baby. Is it too late for me to back into public accounting? I was laid off last year and found a great job in a large bank.
