Hi All,
I have 7 years of experience in total in SAP Integration technology and I have been offered C2 manager position with Capgemini with a package of 30.5 LPA.
Is it good to join? Can I still contribute technically at C2 role? Or would it be pure managerial role? Also please let me know how much variable pay would be paid at this role? I have around 2.8L variable per year as a part of the package.
Any pointers will be highly appreciated Capgemini

Which FAANG companies have non-tech PM roles?
McKinsey & Company Has Mckinsey met BA headcount quota for the year/did they freeze hiring? I interviewed and got to last round last year, and applied again with a referral two months ago but haven’t heard anything from recruiting. Last year I heard back within 1 month of referral drop. I would’ve thought with my 1 more year of experience I should be able to get an interview easily.🥲 McKinsey & Company

😂 sucks! For a consulting manager, tech companies are the logical next step! I’m only half way through this and only keep losing motivation for the next round for under selling myself🤦🏾♀️
I just did - I did 11 (!!) gate interviews over 5 months for a RVP role at a software company with first 10 being phenomenal complete knocks out of the park.
For the 11th, I was asked to prepare an executive briefing for a simulated first meeting with a c-suite client to show I was comfortable with the executive briefings. The panel hated it - stopped me on my first of 3 slides - without having seen it ahead of time. Said it wasn’t describing my role as a PM on the largest project I’ve ever been on. At first I thought it was part of the scenario and rolled with it but then I realized they really did want me to talk about the requirements gathering and deliverables acceptance process on an actual project.
By the time we were done, I had three guys explaining how to create an executive briefing who didn’t understand that we were either given different scenarios or that you’d never bring a detailed past performance deck your first meeting with a new client. Dodged a bullet there, for sure!

Why do you feel like you're over qualified?
Naw that I missed 😂
Had this sort of thing happen at non-FAANG despite me having FAANG experience, MBB experience, and an M7 MBA. They tried to offer under $100k base and limited bonus and RSUs. So, I walked-as a matter of fact ran!
Oooh yikes! Sorry to hear you went thru similar experience. Hope is out there. Were you able to leave it on the table with “potentially another time, provided xyz”?
Yes but only because it was IC role and not a managerial which I was totally okay with - I’ve been wanting to get more specialized. Not a huge bump in base due to that.
Also the opportunity and experience of working at a big tech company. Some intangibles were more important to me.
