Was recently turned down for a position because I did a good job of talking about reporting and workflows, but couldn’t articulate how I helped drive business KPIs, come up with a new way to look at an audience or business situation which changed, or had a huge impact on planning.

Any advice for my next interview? I would be interested to hear others work on that would have pleased the strategy/management team.

Hi fellow PwCers I need some guidance with respect to the technical case interview preparation for PwC UK. If anyone can please provide some context around the format of the interview, significant areas the interviewers usually discuss, the length and quality of issues. I have heard that you are supposed to walk through the interview panel like an audit committee presentation but I am not sure if I need to share any PPT decks with them. Last Wednesday 8/3, I had my final interview with oracle. They are hiring 2 people for role and the hiring manager stated she had more interviews next week and was looking to make a decision by the end of the next week but didn’t specify I’d hear back at the end of next week. It’s now Friday 8/12, is it okay to reach out to the recruiter today for follow up or should I wait until Monday?

I have 2 YOE, and so I’m young, but I don’t want to come off as entitled. One thing that irks me are the black people who are in high positions in the industry or who are simply in the industry/ firm, and they speak and advocate for pro black things and encourage you to reach out to them from a public forum. However, they always ignore your request to have just a 5 min conversation when you reach out to them. It’s just terrible in my opinion.
