Have you noticed (either in school or in person) that social-distancing and cleaning standards are becoming more lax?

I’m probably not in the popular opinion here. Yes I know it’s important to sanitize and disinfect but I won’t lie in saying it worries me that we will sanitize so much that we are trying to keep all germs out. Our bodies aren’t built to deal with no sickness at all. It’s not how our immune system works and strengthens. I worry about long term consequences for sure. But hey, I will continue to do my part and mask up and clean and disinfect.

Yep. If one more adult staff member takes their mask off while talking and approaching me I am going to flip out.

My school has the same procedures in place now as at the beginning of August when we started school. Kids are more lax about wearing masks. It has become a big part of classroom management. I’ve found myself doing more on paper instead of on the Chromebook, so I’m managing not managing the Chromebooks in addition to masks, students, etc.

We have maintained our same practices and I have not seen a relaxation of any kind of our safety protocols.

Our school has done the same thing daily since the beginning. We were synchronous to start school. Everyone is back now and the cleaning procedures remain, but with double the kids, social distancing is basically impossible.

I have relaxed myself, because of how my space is set up and I am in two rooms throughout the day with several periods between. With what I teach, students have to clean up anyway and wipe surfaces

I agree things we did at the beginning they changes due to lack of resources they have. I told my principal i wasn’t comfortable with the changes and i was going to the same cleaning procedures and i would bring my own cleaning supplies if they run out.

Not ours! In fact they just reminded us that staying 6 ft apart is necessary at all times! I teach 1st grade and it is killing me not to be able to have them come sit down in front of me on the floor to listen to a read aloud. Now they have to be sitting at their desks all the time!

Hey 🐟
How often do you talk to your ex?
We broke it off because of long distance, she didn't feel too strongly for a long distance relationship.
But we've been texting twice a week with long messages for the past 4 months.
I am doing a business trip to her location for a week, she had asked to meet.

Don't know how to feel about it.
I still like her and I know she does too, but don't know if we're going to make it more complicated than it is
