Left consulting in 2019, raised a fund, and acquired a healthcare SaaS business. Looking to bring on a Director of Client Success to lead the function. Role will interface with VPs and CSuite of payers. Lots of opportunity to make consulting level impact in industry. I'm targeting a post-mba consultant but open to other conversations. If interested, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm an analyst who has been WFH the past year; however, client is making it mandatory for everyone to come back into the office within 2 months. I'm wondering how many WFH projects are out there and how flexible other clients have been. What's been your experience, or what have you been hearing?
What’s the “oh shit” moment when you f things up on a project, thought you would get fired but managed to wing it?
I have a client who only wants to use MS Teams to communicate to us. It is a nightmare for many reasons but not sure how to stop this.
Somedays I feel like my entire job is just to translate what our SME says to English so our client can understand
Looking for help around an informational interview. Interview is this week with a partner in energy project finance (renewable focus). This will be a career path change for me (currently in international tax), so looking for any insights from current practitioners. Obviously doing some background research on my own, but any info on interesting aspects of the work and/or talking points that would lead to a richer discussion about the work would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Project team is all traveling into my local city this week, meaning I've slept in this morning and spent almost 2 hours at the gym. It's going to be a good week
Any recommendations for someone looking to make the jump into experiential production? Have some past project management experience as well

When starting in consulting, is it better to do one longer project (say 1-6 months), or a series of shorter term projects (1-4 weeks/each)? What are the pros and cons and why?
Going to start as a post MBA associate at MBB. Have a month to go before I start. Any recommendations on how I can prepare myself / what should I do with this time? I’m trying to get a workout routine and also searching for a side project to have something of my own that keeps me sane. Would really appreciate your wisdom!
With the current surge in Covid numbers, can you refuse to travel on a flight to client location? The situation looks pretty scary with breakthrough infections. How are you coping with travel?

Starting to require more engineering mentors and less consulting folks. Is this natural to feel like your the only one who wants to engineer things that add value to a project as a opposed to sticking to the status quo? I’m starting to feel more compelled to a pure software engineering role .. what should I do?
I'm a 'Consultant' who's worked as a Product Owner / Agile team lead throughout my career (3yrs) . This does involve client facing day to day activity . But I'm wondering where my career is going? Are delivery/POs really consultants? And is being a PO the right path to product manager, if I wanted to go to tech?
I have a straight-A student who is 2 points away from an A in my class (after grading her midterm exam). Should I give her the A or would giving her exactly what she has earned teach her valuable lesson?

Me and my wife (married less than a year) were thinking of adopting a dog that we've been fostering. My biggest hesitation is that anywhere we go - we need to figure out what to do with the dog. Her response is - sometimes you just need to do it, and it will figure itself out. Don't really like that response - people with dogs - what do you guys do when you go on vacation? Is it hassle for planning?
Will I get fired because I made a mistake - I forgot to double check with the client that he had to do something and now it’s too late
For the ladies that have or are currently pursuing their MBA: - What made you want to get it? - Was it worth it? (Time, cost, effort) - Part time or full time? - If you’re comfortable with sharing, how old were you? Slowly starting to be over a new job & company only 1 year in and wondering if an MBA will give me some time to figure out what I want to do/open doors for me to make those career pivots. BUT the $$ and time is a huge thing to consider. Any general advice y’all have is welcome pls!
Switching consulting agencies atm. Currently I earn way below average at 42k€/p.a + car. Next week I am negotiating with another company wanting to employ me. I am actually bringing in a customer with a fixed 2 year project @ 1000€ all-in/day rate (5 billable days/week). What salary should I aim for - and what bonuses? I would love something around the market average of 65-75k is it realistic even though I am in my mid 20s?
What are you grateful for at the moment? New clients? New hobby? New job? Right now I have really great work/life balance and I plan to keep my hours this way even when BAU speeds up. Share your recent wins with the bowl!
I’m so sick of politics and people politicizing things that don’t need to be. This is the perfect time for a new political party to come out called the “I hate politics, let’s just” party (pun intended). Instead of blue or red it’ll be colorless. It’ll just include normal f-ing people who meet in the middle to agree on things and avoid drama. People will stop posting polarizing political posts with misinformation, and just post about normal things. Illegitimate news outlets will have less fuel.
How long are winter breaks in business school?
