Office. Better remote

If I get super annoyed I just turn off my camera and give myself some breathing space / time to roll my eyes

Is it a bad look as a senior associate (on the path to manager within a year) to be driving an expensive car like a C7 or C8 corvette that is $70k+? I don’t think it is and here’s my rationale. I’m making over 6 figures, maxing out my 401k and IRA accounts with extra $ going to a brokerage account, I have a 3BR 1300 sq foot home with finished basement and garage for $170k. My two loans are only $240k combined. Heck most people spend more on a house alone. Work remote so vette isn’t daily driver.

Suggestions for a birthday gift for myself? My boyfriend has been asking for weeks & I keep saying nothing but he is not having it. I have a comfortable life & can’t think of anything other than a nice night out, which is already common in our relationship. I suggested a nice set of cookware because I enjoy cooking on our nights in but he jokes it’s a little too domestic. An engagement is already in the works so jewelry seems silly & I WFH so even high end shoes/bags can wait. Thoughts?

Hey there! I work in a mid-size full service agency with a growing marketing team. We currently don't have a CD due to our size and current client portfolio, but that's a role I'd love to step into when the time is right and my management is on board with that. Any advice on how to prepare for that kind of role without changing agencies? Or anyone open to mentoring me? I'd love to learn from a CD or ACD to see what they're doing and what I can bring without leaving my team!

I was caught off guard at my compensation meeting by getting a raise to $100k but also getting a promotion. The raise was decent and it was the minimum I was expecting, but since I got promoted as well I thought the amount should have been higher.
