How have you set personal boundaries with yourself at work? I am starting to feel burnt out from giving my current project my all. Im surrounded by clients that aren’t able to pull their share and don’t see this project staying a float without burning myself out. How is everyone dealing with the continual work from home issues due to Covid?

I work in a big 6 agency, and my client reached out to me and other 2 teammates to offer a position in client’s corporate. It’s because when the previous client’s employee left, he recommended to hire some professionals from our agency. My career goal’s final destination would be somewhere in-house (agency’s speed and workload is not good for retirement). Now I’m at my mid-age. Should I apply for this position even client offered the same position to three of us?

I am in a very toxic account. They tend to blame their miscommunication or lack of communication of materials to the creative teams who are working on the projects. Weirdly though the Creative teams and accounts still manage a very good relationship which I don’t know if it’s only on the surface level. In every project that I lead, none of my account teams keep me posted on any updates that I affects my project yet blames it all to me for not asking. I really want to quit but am I weird?

I’m a first year transactional associate. I love tattoos, but so far have been getting mine in only places I can easily hide. I’m getting tired of that, though, and want to start moving onto my arms and lower legs (I’m a woman, and I do enjoy wearing dresses to the office especially in the spring and summer).

I don’t really face clients except on Zoom, and even post-Covid I don’t see that changing due to the nature of our meetings.

Considering two career pathways - one with KPMG as a entry level associate starting about 70k in IT risk consulting. Don’t think it’s the most fun job. The other is sales engineering in a software service company starting 85k and in 1-2 years jump to 150k+ if I do well. When can I expect to make that with KPMG? Seems like KPMG is the safer route and good to have on the resume vs high risk high reward. Any insight into either path?
