Haven’t done any real amounts of work in 3 weeks, was hired remote and all my would be bosses left before I started a few months ago. I keep asking around for more work but I don’t think anyone knows I exist to resource me. I’m still getting paid and it seems like I’m set to just float around doing nothing but looking for another job until they realize I’m still on the books.

Does internet disconnect hurt my chances of getting a job? I had a final interview today for a remote job and was practically offered the job but at the last minute of interview, my internet didn't work. When I joined 5 min later, interview had already left. I sent an email expressing apology but haven't gotten a reply. I am felling anxious. Will I get rejected because of the internet issues?

Recruiter lied about interview process and job type. First interview goes well and interviewer tried to schedule me for in-person interview first thing next morning. I tried to push off into next week and was told it wouldn’t work with timeline. Everything was supposed to be remote, should I keep it moving and go somewhere else?

Folks on a skilled worker visa, does it have to be five yrs of continuous stay to qualify for your ILR?
