I haven’t gotten a haircut in over a year. don’t stress the cuticles, there’s a pandemic out there.

I never allow them to cut my cuticles that shit aint sanitized no matter where you go

You can push them back yourself at home, too. Do it after you get out of the shower and your skin is soft. You can ‘train’ your cuticles to stay back over time! For real!

This. Buy orange sticks and some of that burts bees cuticle cream. Keep it on your desk and apply several times during the day, and push them back after you’ve used the cream for a week or so. Easy peasy.

Quote from Mean Girls ‘my nail beds suck!!’ Haha but in all seriousness I feel your pain. I haven’t gone either and my cuticles are a mess.

I’d just tell them to take it easy and go next week. Enjoy!

How has COVID impacted you? I'm in a very rural county and now WFH. 10 deaths so far that were all LTC to my knowledge. The only person I've seen wear a mask in the last month was me. We've had 100 cases or so confirmed which were all LTC or from a factory on the edge of our county. How are you city folk doing? Sing me the song of your people.

Looking to lose 10-15lbs that I had gained during covid. Going to a wedding in 2.5 months that is my main motivator. The past 2 weeks I have been doing well - tracking what I eat, buying healthier groceries and working out 5x a week. Then Easter hit and I went to my family’s lunch, and ate way too much unhealthy food. My mom sent me home with lots of food which I ended up eating most of yesterday. Didn’t workout either days. How can I stop myself from spiraling? Usually I’d give up at this point

Tired of being shamed by family for the precautions I’m taking to ensure my family, including 2-month-old, are not putting ourselves in any situation that may cause unnecessary risk of contracting covid. Was called selfish for not attending a bday party (ironic), was made to feel bad when I asked family (who had travelled to Florida for fun, gone out to bars/restaurants, etc.) to get tested before coming to see the newborn. Just be respectful of how others are dealing with the pandemic, please!
