Lived there for a couple years. Very safe and quiet albeit maybe a bit boring.
Very safe, EXTREMELY BORING
I lived there for 4 years and loved it. It’s pretty convenient, quiet, beautiful neighborhood and people, very residential, and plenty of things to do. It’s not a party scene for sure lol but that’s my style and I’ve dated plenty of great people in that neighborhood.

Really safe, a lot of great restaurants, and chill bars (and a few that get crowded/crazy on the weekends). I’m 30 and single and love living here.
Love it. But I’m old and have kids. It’s quiet and boring.
Safe, boring, super limited train options.
I live here as a 26M and there are tons of options for dating. Paired with an affordable studio = fun (for me)
Idk why everyone says it’s boring. It’s a calm, nice, clean neighborhood off the Q near 2nd Ave where you can do legit anything.
I grew up there. Agree with others who have said it is pretty residential. Some nice parks that overlook the east river. Always felt safe.
