Haven't owned a set of golf clubs since i was a kid. Looking to get a cheap set for the occasional round (maybe 3-4 rounds a year). I am short (5'5'-5'6'), any recommendations? Thinking about getting a Teen set.

Are teen sets a thing now? I worked at a large golf retailer in college and never heard of that. Usually junior sets go up to 12 year olds, then you have ladies clubs, then standard size men. I’d recommend a men’s set that comes with all the clubs and a bag from one of the big brands like Callaway. If they feel too long after playing you can get them cut down a bit.

Do it. Likely the same quality and you don’t need to customize it. I would try out in the store though

I would go to a real golf shop and get fit. They will cut them down / adjust angle.

Can certainly adjust length though. And you can try a few sets to see what kind of hosel angle feels right.

Go online (2ndswing.com) and get a used set. If you barely play, just choke down or get fitted for different shafts as someone recommended.

I’m a similar height. I’d recommend just getting an XL set. If you’re only playing 3-4 times a year, you can get one for around $300

Top flite is fine. If you’re only going 3-4 times a year, it’s more about having clubs than having the right clubs tbh

Assuming you are a male, a teen set would have the wrong flex, regardless of height. Get the men’s bag + all clubs set.

If you are a woman, get the women’s bag + clubs

Callaway does custom length in that you can order 1-2 inches short. Or the ladies Callaway Reva set has a short option, it’s around $1200 for 11-piece

I feel so far behind all of my non-lawyer friends. Everyone is getting married, having babies, and buying houses, and all I have is esq behind my name... I feel like my career is my marriage and my baby, and my student loans are my house payment... anyone else feel that way? Also, if anyone used to feel that way but dug themselves out of that whole, any advice?

I'm 16 weeks pregnant (1st time). My office (in NYC) is re-starting back to work in 2 weeks. I previously had an exemption for fertility treatments as exemptions were given for any medical reason. Now there are no more exemptions being given & I would need to request one from my LoB head.

I have a new team whom I have never met & if I don't go back now, I wont see them until Dec. I am boosted but my commute is about an hour including bus ride & a 25 min walk each way. What would you do?

Hi I am a female USDC SS level employee and would be on bench starting from mid September. I have received a generic email from RM stating that work from home is not allowed when on bench and have to come to office from 9am to 5pm. I am a mother of 11 months old and my family already had Covid few months back. Since my kid is very small i am not comfortable sending him to day care. Can anyone suggest how to get approval for work from home during my bench time. I am very much tensed

My husband yells at me in front of my 2 years old, even when he is scared. He needs to express his anger out before he can shut down. I am planning to leave him but I am hesitant because I am afraid this would negatively impact my son more, not having a father figure around much.... not the first time, my husband promises multiple time that at least he would control his anger in front of kid but never Lee up the promise...sometimes he would even throw stuff (not at me and my child)...

I (36F) am married to another woman (34F) and we have a baby (5moF). We split all childcare, cleaning, meal prep, errands etc fairly evenly and it works well. Maybe she cooks more than I do bc she likes it, and I clean more bc I need to have a clean house. My friend (35F) recently took a business trip and literally put a binder together with instructions for her husband re: daycare drop off and pick up, what to feed the kids, when to take out the trash and so on. 6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

I received a job offer for a PM position with a base of $125K and a 10% bonus, fully remote and ok benefits. The parental leave is pretty bad, just FMLA and STD/LTD so the most I’d get is 60% of my salary for 12 weeks. I’ve cancelled most of my interviews except for one where the pay is $135K, 20% bonus, hybrid schedule, good benefits and 16 weeks fully paid parental leave. I’d like to start my family in a year or two - is it better to take the remote gig or the hybrid role with full paid leave?

I’m joining Accenture Federal soon and had some questions about parental leave. First, is there a minimum timeframe you have to work for Accenture before they let you take maternity/parental leave. Secondly, in the recruiting brochure maternity leave is separate from parental leave. Can you take both of you are the primary caretake for a total of 4 months?

As a manager of a restaurant, how is it best to address parents with screaming babies/children given that it is not a kid-encouraged establishment? The parents were oblivious to proper etiquette and other guests complained making the parents of the screaming baby wildly offended. How does management appease all parties? Or is it best to protect the masses?

Does anyone know if we can reimburse expenses for items listed in Wageworks while on maternity?

I know we cannot expense phone/internet/ commuter benefit as I am not actively doing work.

However, for other items that fall under wage works reimbursement, I couldn’t find anything in writing yet.
