I think I'm crazy for turning down my first opportunity to earn 6 figures but the lost time traveling 4 days to the office and expected expenses like ubers/public trans/clothes/food make it almost not worth it. Thoughts?

I think middle of the road spending would yield me netting 13k more than I do now while fully remote. However my lost time traveling would be anywhere from 6.5k to 10k/year.

This is in regards with my resignation. I have resigned on 22nd March (LWD : 22 June ) on medical grounds. Since then, my hr has asked for my prescriptions and medical certificates to give me an early release.

But yesterday, She is stating that my lwd is revised to 18th April with a clause that since my release is on medical grounds I can't join any other orgs before 22june. If joined, there will be problem in background verification.

I’m an IT consultant and we just discussed an RFP with a manager. They wanted to use resources overseas/offshore for some capabilities and then one of the other managers said something on the lines of “or we could do pretty much everything offshore and do PMO here it would save the budget”. I’m sick of this approach. How am I supposed to get utilization and learn actual stuff outside of PMO if they always end up using offshore resources?
