I joined a later stage startup as a corporate strategy “manager”. I put manager in quotes as there’s no one else in strategy. It was fun the first 6 months when I helped raise equity and create an initial 5 year plan, but for the past 2-3 months I’ve been essentially doing FP&A work. What kind of opportunities are out there after this one?

Hi! I need some help negotiating a raise. I have been working for this company for exactly 3 months now, but I was hired as an AGM. I'm not specific on what my responsibilities are as AGM.
However the GM at the time, quit 1 and a half months in. I was thrown into the role and have been handling it since.
My regional calls himself our GM but is never on site.
Was reluctant to cover my shifts when I became sick and requested time off for a few days. (4 days)
Any thoughts?

Seeing your guys posts have me really sad.. So I started at Rite aid 3 years ago at start of Covid when I lost my job (factory) closed with no experience or training.. I’m now MI state licensed, not nationally certified. I fought with the union to get raises in our district and they did give us pay raises on the first of the 2022 year. so making 13.50 with a 25 cent pay raise a year.. I love my job and coworkers and my pharmacist.. but seeing these pay rates y’all have I’m very disappointed.

My creative partner is negotiating for a raise and in the process of having a proper review with management. I don’t want to work for women anymore. I know this sounds terrible, but i’ve now had two female bosses in a row who suddenly began tearing down my work, belittling me in private/in public, and threatening my livelihood. The last one felt like an extra betrayal because she had previously been very supportive and even helped me get a raise. I recently learned that a new hire is making significantly more than me. I currently make $58K but am expecting a $10K raise soon. The new hire is making $78K. Their position does not have a bigger work load than me. If anything my position has a larger workload and is more crucial to the organization. A week later I recieved a call from the HR regarding salary negotiation. I asked for 40% hike over my current CTC. HR told me that they won't be able to match it and will get back to me in few hours.
