Having a first call next week with a Facebook recruiter for a Tax Manager position I applied. I haven’t had any interviews since college so I’m excited but nervous at the same time.
Do recruiters ask any behavioral questions or questions related to Facebook’s mission/value? I expect that for next rounds but wasn’t sure if the recruiters might ask those or not in the first round.

As someone who is currently going through the recruiting process (albeit with other big 4 firms for a different service line) the recruiter screens are to essentially make sure you’re not a complete weirdo. That being said, I would prep for the recruiter call just like I would for any other interview.
For me, the prep includes developing responses for “tell me about yourself,” knowing how to walk someone through your resume/experience, why xxxx position, why xxxx company, as well as practicing a few behavioral stories and brushing up on technicals (if applicable). Hope that helps and with preparation, you will do a great job!

I wouldn’t overthink it. You presumably make small talk with clients all the time so I’m sure you can hang for a basic convo for 30 minutes. I would be prepared for why Facebook and why you are looking to leave your current job. I’d also be prepared to answer questions about expected comp.
Aren’t you a tax manager already?
They may ask why their specific company and then for you to give an example of how you demonstrated the Company’s core value (which they would explain to you in the question).
They will ask “why Facebook?”
