Having confidence to take the next step in your career is all about the process.

Thoughts —> Beliefs —> Actions —> Outcomes —> Repeat

This virtuous cycle is a continuous feedback loop that builds on itself.

Focus on positive thoughts and let the negative ones float on by.

When thoughts become beliefs, take action.

Outcomes give you data to help adjust your approach and build confidence.

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

You can DIY.

A coach will get you there faster.

I want to get promoted in a year time, is that possible?

Thoughts become beliefs.

Your promotion will only happen if you believe it will happen and you embody that belief.

Actions lead to outcomes.

Create a 1 year action plan to meet your goal. Assess your progress consistently and adjust as you evaluate outcomes in your plan.

Anyone can tell me , does cognizant rejects profile after sharing the offer letter?

I was offered a position for a set amount and they hired someone for the same job as me to start at the same time for $25k more (I saw it because HR gave me access to seeing profiles and salaries, nothing illegal) they also had me training her. She resigned her 3rd day but I let them know when I received my offer letter before she resigned that I had seen it and how do I feel about training someone the same position as me and paid more than me. They haven't said anything yet to me about it

Pivoted careers and spiteful people in my new job keep telling me I’m underqualified and shouldn’t be here and that I was a bad hiring decision. Tips to stop this from feeding my imposter syndrome? I do think there’s a learning curve and I’m not fooling myself - I know nothing beats experience. But I’m willing to work hard and learn and not arrogant. Maybe the general practice wouldn’t be to hire someone with my lack of experience for this position, but I’m here and not going anywhere, so!

Imagine you're looking for a remote job at a large company with a sophisticated marketing function, strong manager, and room for growth. Making good traction, but then you're contacted by a company in a niche that FASCINATES you...like you read books about this subject for fun, you'd probably love this job. It's remote, the salary is good, the manager is nice, but you'd be the most senior marketing person; the company is about 200 people. What would you do?

Hello there, I am interviewing at a company for an HR Generalist Contract role and when they asked me what my pay expectations are, I asked them what their pay range and expectations were for this role. She let me know she was unable to tell me, yet still wanted me to give an answer. Do you believe that’s fair? How should I bring up pay expectations in my next round of interviews to ensure I am aware of what this position is offering so I don’t lowball or overshoot myself?

I work for a relatively small company and I (seem to be) on my boss’s good side and in her “inner circle” however, she’s made comments that she will look up our company name on LinkedIn and indeed to see if current employees are updating their resumes and then tells me “so don’t even try it” .. naturally I’m trying to find a new job and career change and not having my profile and resume public has made it pretty hard to be found by others but I fear she’ll find me in the process.. help!

Can anyone review my resume and give me feedback?

Does anyone know how to get a consultant job at Disney or know someone who is in that role?
