KPMG I cleared all the rounds of my interview with KPMG and was asked to provide necessary documents and fill a CAF form a week back and had a HR discussion too. I have requested for about 3Lakhs additional fixed pay since my current CTC has increased and HR said she will get back on this. It's been a week and haven't heard back on the offer letter. How long do you think I should wait. Please wait.
Hello Fishers, need your help to finalize my decision.
I have 5 YOE and I have done a full-time MBA. I am currently working with one of the product organizations as a business analyst. TIAA offering 17 LPA Fixed (Including PF) against 1 counter offer I had of 15.6 LPA Fixed.
My CCTC is 9.35 LPA so should I ask for more here? Also, how are work culture and policies considering I will be part of the BA profile?

I went to Fuqua paying full price. Was one of the best choices I’ve made in my life. You’ll find plenty of people who you’ll vibe with since your class is 300+. Most of the people I hung grew real close with were exactly how you described - on the game at work/school, but socially very relaxed. You just see the type A people in your class more in the beginning because they’re trying to organize things super early before people are on campus

Look at the original reasons you applied to an MBA school. Are they still valid/important to you?
Wouldn’t worry about the vibe. As with any big place you’ll meet people you like and fit well with and you’ll find people that you don’t fit in with. MBA is an individual program, everyone there has their own unique goals and plan so no sense in comparing yourself to them. You’re only behind if you are behind on your own plan.
pre-MBA opportunity strongly dictates your post-MBA opp - in your benefit the MBA will be fairly normalized for this year when compared to 2020
Do you mean your level of career achievement pre-mba has a big opportunity on your options post-MBA?
Socially I’m chilled out. So don’t know if I’m going to even vibe with the vibes in my program (or any top program for that matter). I’d be the first person in my family attaining a graduate level degree, let alone at a school with so much prestige. Confused on how I should go about making my decision.
As someone who turned down Duke to go to UNC please join us. UNC KF had such a better atmosphere and I connected with the students much more.
Duke is a pretty big program, I’m sure you’ll find people you vibe with!
Also can I ask, if you only have a rough idea of where you want to go, how did you approach career goals type essays?
