Alright I also suffer from imposter syndrome. Here is how I deal 1) someone above you thought you could do it and they aren’t wrong. 2) use that feeling to move forward and cultivate more skills and knowledge to feel better. 3) if you feel you deserve that pay and title you probably already deserved a while back ago. Get it!

Lost sense of maximizing points/mileage value for int’l flights. Why is Detla redeeming so much more for some routes than Chase UR and even other partner airlines? E.g. non-stop economy btw Detroit-Seoul // Delta redeeming 160k on its own route while Chase UR 123k & Korean Air 80k for same route (code share)... I get it all depends on timing but still weird directly using Delta Skymiles on its own Delta route is more expensive than going through other methods....

What would you do if you were me? Late 30s. Burned out. 1.4M invested in index funds (75% in in post tax accounts). 4k/month fixed housing expense. Untilites/insurance/subscriptions at 1k/month. After that it's food, clothing, and one-off expenses. Dual income family of 4. Monthly burn rate gets up to 9k when we're not paying attention so I'm not traditional FIRE yet. Coasting options? Sabbatical? A few more years in the salt mines? Rental properties or other time suck investments?

Hey guys. I have a technical interview with AlixPartners restructuring and turnaround team. This is for their summer intern position. I didn’t come from a restructuring background.
