I just completed an additional interview for a different role and the recruiter said they do not want to move forward with me. I’m now being scheduled for an interview for a different role now. What type of implications would the interview committee consider when bumping up a L5 candidate to an L6 hire instead and how often does this happen?

I applied to an open role with an internal referral almost a month ago. Is Amazon one of the companies who you can just never hear from at all? My status still says “application submitted” and I’m just wondering what experiences others on here have had with Amazon.

I completed my Loop today and I think it went well but who knows. It was not as terrifying as I had expected. I really have no idea how it went as I have had "final interviews" and felt I did well and then did not get the role. Let the wait begin!!

I got to ask. I had my recruiter phone screening and can’t seem to figure out a couple of things.
1. Applied for 2posts. Said Under Consideration for one but was interviewed for a different role. Is this normal?
2. The interviewer didn’t seem much interested to speak to me. Or maybe I’m reading too much into it.
Overall it went average, but I’d like to know if I could reach out this recruiter asking about the application status issue on the job portal!
