I’ve been working for this company for 4 years. The raises I got were a few cents on the dollar per year. Over the years I have coworkers put their letter of resignation, and they get offered huge advances to stay. I was looking to do the same but very nervous. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I got offer from Wipro today for 30 LPA CTC
S&P Global - expecting offer by friday, asked 30 lak fixed. However I have not disclosed the wipro offer as i got only today

S&P said 30 Fixed not possible however he l try his best, he is ok for 27 fixed,(almost same pay as wipro) he said no variable pay will be mentioned in Offer, but u wil get. Not sure abt this policy

1) Which one to chose b/w wipro & s&p
2) How to negotiate with S&P ?Should i call now or after recieving offer

32 years old and retirement portfolio is 100% equities (65% large cap, 15% international, 10% mid cap, 10% small cap - all low cost, indexed mutual funds). Looking at market news: near-record Schiller CAPE ratio, forecasts of negative 10-year returns on S&P, euphoria in more speculative assets. Thinking of taking some money out of equities (~20%?) and moving into a large bond fund of primarily US treasuries (think BND).
