In the early stages of interviewing with Amazon Business for a “Senior” role. One of the questions the recruiter asked is what my expectations are regarding compensation. I indicated that given the job description that I thought the role was an L5 or L6 and that my combination of experience and education warranted compensation commensurate with an L6 position. What should the compensation expectation be for an L6 in Sales/Account Mgt with 15yoe and multiple position relevant masters degrees?

I've heard it both ways, hoping a recruiter can shed some light on it... Does it matter what day of the week you submit an application?

Them: MM PE buyout fund, no specific industry focus. Most recent fund $2.5B+, AUM $5B+

Role: VP of Operations, joining an Ops team that will be ~10 people total top to bottom

Offer: $200 base, $150 bonus, and ‘carry’ that is actually just a deal performance-based cash payment that is awarded to non-carry individuals (cont)

What do you all make and yoe? PE associate. 1.5 banking, 2 in PE. 125 base. 165 bonus. No carry yet. Curious what your numbers are?
