Everyone wants us to go back to the office, but COVID is constantly picking us off when we go in lol.

So many of my teammates are sick. I recovered from COVID last week. My manager tested positive yesterday. We are spread out in different locations- Banglore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Kolkata. Since June second week , every week 2 are taking sick leaves for fever. Currently 5/12 have tested positive including me since June. 3 have cold and symptoms. Another guy is on his 2nd consecutive sick leave today.

My application wasn’t picked in 1st round. The high number of selections this year made me think if it’s worth waiting for 2nd round. Next year is my last attempt and my company cannot support beyond H1B if I don’t get it again and I think going to a big company can help with that. Should I just switch if I get an offer before 2nd round?
