Im having 9.5yoe in java backend development( technical lead) and have not worked in devops till now. But recently i have started with a PG course in devops.
I am very much interested to move to devops. What kind of roles i can give interview for and what and all paths i can take forward.

I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?

Hello devs of India, I am a fresher with 6-7 months of internship experience and soon to be FTE at 8LPA. I want to target 16-18LPA within 1.5 YOE; but I am extremely confused on what path should I move forward, shall I proceed to make projects and up skill my tech stack or start preparing for DSA. I can’t focus on both simultaneously or should I give a year to up skill and then start preparing and applying. Or provide your suggestions to help a confused rookie out.

Know or a good executive recruiter for industry role?

Need some suggestion. I cleared two technical round of interview at Persistent for the role of Salesforce developer. I was then asked to share required document and next day had a telephonic round for HR interview.

Now even after 2 weeks I do not have any more updates on my application. Tried to call the HR, but my call gets cancelled.

Can anyone pls suggest if there is anyway to know the status of my application? Or how should I further proceed

I had my phone screen on Friday afternoon with the hiring manager. He told me he did 4 phone screens this week including mine and has 2 more this week. He told me the next step would be a second phone interview and then the Loop. I sent a thank you note afterwards. How soon after your phone screen were you told that you were moving forward in the process?

I really want to do asset management or operations of real estate. I’ve been applying to in house jobs and hope to make the transition down the road. I got a lot of interviews, first round, second round, but I just couldn’t get an offer. Most of these jobs want someone with significant leasing experience which I lack (my group doesn’t do this). I’ve been giving the speech that I know how to do leasing but it’s just not my main focus of my current job, but no one is buying it. So what to do??

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something.
