Has anyone left Big 4 to go independent with current client? My current client offered me a full time role but I want to come in as an independent consultant. I’d save them money and think they’d go for it. I’d use it as my first client and look to try my own consulting business. It’s always been my dream and I don’t see myself going through the ringer to make partner although I respect folks who do a ton. Just not for me. Too much mental health issues already. Can’t add that stress.
