Been with my current company just under 6 months and about to put in my notice because I received an Offer in Product Management that was an absolute dream role and company. Any advice for my convo with my Manager later this morning? She’s been nothing but supportive during my tenure and I know I’m leaving them in a bad spot considering I was about to start a new project next week and we already had a super lean team to begin with and no bench.
In a tough situation and need some advice. I’m an audit associate who got passed up for senior promotion this year, but senioring a busy season engagement. There is another senior that is supposed to be on the job, but he hasn’t been staffed on the engagement the past couple weeks and is off this week. I now have the full responsibility of this engagement on my hands and feel like it’s pretty unfair considering I got passed up for promotion and am not getting paid to be a senior. What do I do?
Has anyone successfully negotiated their contracts in the Big4? If so, how did you do it and how did it go? I’m an S1, will get my raise in October... BUT… The market is hot right now, and I can leave an make more— but I would like the opportunity to stay and them bargain with me to stay since we are short staffed. Again, I understand I can leave, so don’t make that comment. Any insight or advice is welcome. KPMG EY PwC Deloitte

Accenture 🐠, can you help explain the different roles and their typical seniority levels? - Client Account Lead - Client Group Lead - Market Unit Lead - Senior Client Executive I would expect a CAL manages an account relationship and report into a MUL, but I see there are a few aligned to geographies. Just trying to understand the organisation structure better. Thanks.
Coming back to D in October after LOA. During that LOA, I was approached by other firms, and received 3 offers. I do want to stay at D but if they cant match the offers I received, I will leave (offers include 30% increase and a promotion). How should I go about this? Do I contact my coach and let him know that I would like to stay but received different offers and I want to know if Deloitte can match them?
I received what appears to be a random email from an executive recruiter at a firm in NY. She has a client but can not disclose who it is at this time ( ie. Non disclosure agreement ). I sent my resume thinking not much of it. I just received an email saying that my “resume did not parse correctly into the Candidate Management System. In order to move forward, I need your ATS compatible resume ASAP. “ Why does this feel fishy to me? Can someone provide any additional insight
That time of year again. Just found out I’m being promoted to Manager. What should I expect for the raise? S2 -> M1
I have 2 offers, one from a great company 50% raise in hcol city. The other less known company 10% raise, but in my home city close to my parents (I have 3 kids). Help me choose.

I’m 3rd year senior at a regional firm, going all in to earn a promotion to manager next summer (July 2020), but I’m trying to determine what I should do if I don’t earn the promotion (cont.)
Does EY do early promotion?
🐠🐠 Wondering how you'd perceive a person in a C-Suite or leadership position: - typically a smooth talker - acts like he was struck by lightning when things don't go his way, though it shouldn't have been a surprise - claims to have low EQ when he causes misunderstandings, yet doesn't take action to resolve it, or get help to raise his EQ - says he doesn't know anything about current events (or ones from a few years ago) or keeps up with news because he only has Netflix, no cable & such
Found out that my partner, who is an ACD is making more than I am as a CD. Problem is I can't reveal how I found out to my boss, so I don't know how to bring this up and ask for a raise.
What are all you super high achieving MBA grads doing now? Curious about your post grad moves.

Critical question: I'm taking a Southwest flight Thursday night during RPDR. Does their on board TV have VH1?
Any tips for getting interviews/job offers? I don’t have too many people in my network but I’m trying to switch to another big 4 in tech. Ideally I would like to switch into consulting but I feel like that’s harder, especially right now. I’ve been applying to jobs on LinkedIn but not hearing back and I need to get out of here😭
So if I attend a 2 day client workshop, do I’ve to file an amendment? Also, if you working out of a client location M-T, would I be using the client location to fill up timesheet in DTE?
I wish my company cared less about “optics” and just valued good work. Literally had some one tell me it’s bad optics to WFH right now. It’s not like there’s a pandemic or anything 🙄
Anyone successfully parlay a partner offer into something like opting for part time with benefits? Boutique firm w great partners but don’t want the equity lifestyle. How to prep next few years?
If you expensed a charge and then later realize it was billed wrong so you get it refunded by the vendor. Meanwhile the expense report is already paid by the firm do you pocket it or fess up?
It's always been a dream of mine to live in NYC. Very grateful to be employed during this time but the only problem is my current job isn't based in NYC. Would it be crazy to just.... make the move since we're in indefinite WFH? Asking for a friend... 👀
Question: can an employer legally withhold your personal possessions after you leave the firm? I left my old firm recently and they were not happy about me joining another consultancy. They are withholding any belongings that I left in the office and have ignored my emails asking to arrange a pick up or delivery of my personal items. I understand the covid19 environment impacts the situation, but anything I can do to get my stuff back? Any help would be appreciated.

Does Kearney have a much faster promotion cycle than most consulting firms? Why am I seeing Managers with barely 4-5 years of experience? Would like to see what the promotion timeline looks like if anyone can share!

Bit of an odd question. I am classic statistician who now leads a small Data Science team. Most of my time is running multiple projects and no time coding. I am now getting pulled into more and more large dollar proposal work typically centered around doing the same type of small scale DS projects for some DoD client but at scale ie 5-10 projects each at the same LOE of my typical projects but in the cloud. So I could use some advice....see second post
I’ve been told by my firm that I need to get a corporate amex card. I’m new to consulting- can I still use my own credit card to get the points and expense that way? If it’s the corporate card can I still get points for it also or does it only go to EYP? Curious to know if a corporate amex is even a good thing or the benefits for it. Thanks!
Won’t get employee match on 401k until next year I believe. Should I continue to contribute 15% or lower it and wait to contribute more when I get matched? Or does it matter? Hope to get some advice!
Advice needed-I’m 30 weeks pregnant and constantly getting dumped on at work (in industry now). I’m high risk (gestational diabetes & hypertension) and have been clear with my all male management team that I’m high risk. Still, they are steady trying to pull me into new projects while I’m actively leading one of the most high profile projects in the org. From a career standpoint, I appreciate it, but I cannot physically keep up the way I used to and feel like I’m risking my and my baby’s health.
