Heard today that EY is not having consultants travel anymore (friend has EY in house in Corp company in Dallas). Is this true? Outside of targeted countries, has any firm stopped US travel yet?

Seattle office issued guidance to limit travel. Comes down to a discussion with the engagement manager, but I know several folks not traveling next week / working remotely

like

This isn't true that I know of

like

Damn it, I am traveling next week.

I have not heard that from any of my EY friends.

True for me

Accenture has for specific countries

Only for internal large meetings. Still traveling for clients for now

This is not true for EY

MOSS ADAMS SoCal (Irvine, San Diego, LA) BRS people can you please provide some insight? I spoke to an experienced hire recruiter today and he said the company is moving to a hybrid model to include more in-person time between clients and staff. How often are you traveling to client sites and the office? is it as much as audit 2-3 weeks living in a hotel or sitting in the client's office? or maybe once a month? or are you working mostly remote? Thank you.

I just opened a Marriott/SPG points account, I don't need to worry about anything merger related do I?

Living in Van. Previously lived in Toronto. Obviously rent prices are high as is cost of living. Generally go out and spend more often living in a city. Boyfriend and I on good salary but not saving much due to the above. Before we move home to our own country, we’d love to spend a year close to Vancouver where rent is cheaper, temptation is less, to save. A commute to Vancouver 1-2 times a month needs to be possible (his job). That can be a flight if it’s not crazy. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Has anyone traveled on Fly Norse? I am wondering if they're a good airline to fly on? Thoughts?

Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?
