When do Wharton interviews come out
Hi everyone!!! Last year I put together a list of classrooms to exchange valentines with! We mailed 1 valentine to each class and included a picture if we could, and a few things about where we live and things we do!
I currently have 13 classes signed up! The more the merrier!!
We have classes CA, WI, PA, KS, TX, RI, MI, Canada, New Zealand.
I have a form to fill out if you are interested! I will email everyone the list probably at the end of the week if not sooner!

Day 3: 40 push ups challenge ✅ (30+10 regular) 💪
3-4 rounds. Once you get to the Group PM phase I think you need a bit more since it’s more about leadership than IC.
I think product tear down interviews are more useful than most case studies. In my experience, most case studies are asking you to present on the company’s product and you’re at a disadvantage because you don’t have the knowledge people at the company do, and I’ve been asked questions specific to employee only knowledge of the product.
Product tear downs on the other hand give you the advantage. “Name a product you currently use and how you would change it” puts you on familiar ground, the interview panel on neutral ground, and is more about your thought process. It also requires less prep.
As a hiring manager, I like tear downs because there are a lot of people who talk a big game and reference thought leaders but don’t actually have a good grasp of strategy or how to do the work.
Actually, this would be a good product design question during a PM interview.
oh that's a really good thought!

The one interview activity I go back and forth on are take home tests. I see the value, but some tests are terribly designed. This is probably the biggest complaint.
I think time-consuming and onerous processes will only hurt the companies if they are trying to hire quality people FAST. Definitely no time for poorly-designed tests, as BCG mentions.
I have a call for PM, Receivables with AppFolio. Any pointers for that @OP ?
Thanks and much appreciated!
